Eddie Shanhun walked up to a long strip of blubber with the intention of slicing it in half. It took off suddenly, sliding across the slippery deck, the tail-end whipping around, gathering Eddie in. As one worker described it, Eddie flew through the air in a sitting position as if ejecting from an aeroplane, straight into the cooking pot! A perfect hole in one! Fortunately he escaped without injury.
